Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
At this point, why doesn't the Pakistani gov. allow U.S. forces to enter Pakistan to fight Taliban/Al Qaeda?

Any intervention by a foreign government, particularly the Americans, would be seen as a sign of weakness and make it even more difficult for the Pakistani government to regain control in Taliban controlled regions and would make it difficult to hold the regions still under the control of the government in Islamabad.
