It's not cursed. Think about the sheer number of people working and visiting there and the amount of machinery and equipment located at Disney.
Attendance estimates for 2007:
* Magic Kingdom, 17 million visits (No. 1 worldwide)
* Epcot, 10.9 million visits (No. 6)
* Disney's Hollywood Studios, 9.51 million visits (No. 7)
* Disney's Animal Kingdom, 9.49 million visits (No. 8)
"When the Magic Kingdom opened in 1971, the site employed about 5,500 "cast members". Today it employs more than 66,000, spending more than $1.2 billion on payroll and $474 million on benefits each year. The largest single-site employer in the United States 8, Walt Disney World Resort has more than 3,700 job classifications." - Wikipedia
The number of people is simply staggering, and for no accidents to be happening there would actually be MORE surprising to me. That's not to say that these deaths are trivial because they aren't. But still the sheer amount of people in the park over the course of the year makes me think that accidents (and deaths) should probably not be that big of a surprise.

Old Yeller
Bambi's mom
Mufasa
Coral
Snowdogs (at least I presume...I couldn't make it to the end)
Maleficent's crow
Or maybe some homicidal mother is stalking the park (think Mrs. Voorhees from "Friday the 13th), getting revenge for all the MOTHERS killed in Disney films:
Bambi's Mom
Coral (Nemo's mom)
Mogli's mom
Ariel's mom
Jasmine's mom
Aladdin's mom
Belle's mom
Lilo's mom
Snow White's mom (and all the mothers of the Dwarves...come to think of it!)
Peter Pan's mom
Cinderella's mom
Okay, so maybe the tragic deaths are a little more serious than this. But you have to admit that if there IS a curse, easy money's on animal or mom karma!

I don't think Disney is cursed. It's actually surprising that they haven't had more accidents with the number or employees/guest that go to the parks everyday.

Another Disney performer dies. Is Walt Disney World cursed?
This summer we began with the tragic Walt Disney World monorail crash. Next, a ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' performer, Mark Priest died after hitting his head during a show. This week, Anislav Varbanov died after being injured during a routine practice of a "tumble roll."
Whats the deal with all these freak accidents? Do you think WDW is cursed?

Okay, that's just an assumption. But they're clearly in need of a mother figure. ;)

Not as cursed as the New Orleans Amusement park once called Jazzland, then 6 Flags, and perhaps soon Nickelodeon.

People tend to die in 3's. It's tragic, RIP to those employees. I don't think Disney is cursed. It's actually surprising that they haven't had more accidents with the number or employees/guest that go to the parks everyday.
