Psychotic disorder is a term used to refer to any mental disorder that involves psychoses so it really depends on which disorder you're talking about. (delusional disorder, schizophrenia, etc...) However since the 1950's atypical anti-psychotics have been used to treat psychoses, such as abilify, zyprexa, or stelazine.
The latest atypical anti=psychotic to be approved for use in the US by the FDA is Paliperidone which is used for the treatment of schizophrenia in both acute and maintenance stages.
