I'm still trying to figure this place out, but I agree. I hope for some kind of direct messaging, forums, or announcement board where people can post and even discuss Mahalo questions when they'd just like to comment, or take it into a debate or what not. :) I don't like debating on the q & a threads but there are times when I don't want to answer the question but just say something and it's not really mahalo correct to do that if you're not in fact answering.

What I do is I always check the "Mahalo Answers Community" category. This is where everything new is posted.

That has helped me stay on top of everything new going on. :)

I agree. Announcement should not be drowned by another questions. Announcements and questions are entirely different things. Some of Mahaloians might not be interested or less interested in answering questions, only doing task and become page manager, like me.

If ever there is an important announcement Mahalo will label it with "Announcement" and it will be pinned to the top of Mahalo Answers, we'll generally keep it there for 12 to 24 hours, after that it will remain in the Community forum where it will remain for a few more days.
