This would be a great question to ask at today's training session with Lon. You can do that by checking out the Mahalo Tutorials page at 3pm EST, 12 PST.
I think I remember hearing something about this being a new feature in the future.

Blocking a User?
When I get to a higher belt level will I be able to block a user, or somehow make them invisible to me? I specifically asked one user to avoid my questions, but it did not work.
I noticed that someone said Mahalo 2 for Answers was not yet rolled out. Will there be a Block User feature in M24Answers?

I don't think this is a feature that we will see as part of the site. Not allowing someone to answer a question, based on who is asking it, defeates the openness of Mahalo and doesn't give everyone the same freedom. The point of Mahalo Answers is to find the best answer and that could come from anyone. Why did you feel the need to ask a user to avoid your questions?

That's not how I read the question... There might be a user you want to "ignore". This is a personal decision, not a MA-wide decision.

@drmatt but @jfs said "I specifically asked one user to avoid my questions, but it did not work"... if someone was blocked from answering a question (or the person answering the question could not see another members answer) the choice of "best answer" would be unfair because it is completely possible for the "blocked" member to have the best answer.

I think this is a good question and I wonder about it myself. Yes, we know the allowances based on belt level, but as far as I know, the privileges of higher belt levels are undocumented.
Edit, I just checked and it looks like the extra privileges are listed now.
