There are FAR to many to even come close to saying one play or event in Tedy Bruschi's career to is the MOST memorable but listen to this game caller.. this is in a game against the Bills.
From saving puppies AND their squeaky toys from a burning truck to knowing 38 different languages being American of the century, this is the best game calling I have ever heard regarding Tedy Bruschi.
If I really had to pick one it would be the day the New England Patriots drafted him in 1996.

Attempting to win their third championship in four years, the Patriots played the Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX. Bruschi sacked McNabb on the game’s third play and had seven total tackles in the game. With Philly trailing 24-14 and facing a first-and-10 at the New England 36, Bruschi picked off a pass intended for L.J. Smith with 7:20 left. Holding on for a 24-21 victory, the Pats won their ninth consecutive playoff game, equaling the NFL record set by the Green Bay Packers under legendary coach Vince Lombardi. It seemed particularly fitting that Bruschi and his teammates would once again hoist the trophy that bears Lombardi’s name."

Tedy Bruschi retiring is kind of sad because he was the poster child for what hard work can get you in the National Football League. He was a tough player who could have played in any NFL era and will be missed. The Patriots have lost a great leader and I hope he gets into coaching to help younger players.

When he was introduced prior to the game, he was given what he called “the loudest ovation of my career. It still gives me chills when I think about it.”

The below is #1 from a list of top 10 Bruchi moments. I have to agree this is fantastic . . . "Feb. 6, 2005

I think Bruschi’s most notable moment was playing with his kids before one of the Super Bowls. Other than that he was simply a guy who showed up to work everyday and just did his job. Tedy Bruschi retiring is kind of sad because he was the poster child for what hard work can get you in the National Football League. He was a tough player who could have played in any NFL era and will be missed. The Patriots have lost a great leader and I hope he gets into coaching to help younger players.

The most notable moment of Tedy's career was the moment he stepped on the field at Foxborough on Oct, 10 2005 against the Bills, nine months removed from a mild stroke. When he was introduced prior to the game, he was given what he called “the loudest ovation of my career. It still gives me chills when I think about it.”
