Need help converting MPEG-4 files to DVD compliant files.

I have been trying to convert and burn an MPEG-4 file to DVD using AVStoDVD, but the resulting video contains no sound. Isharesoft MPEG to DVD converter does work, but the free version inserts a watermark, and I do not want to pay for software. I have also tried Roxio DVD Creator, but it simply will not allow me to exclude a menu, which I do not have room for on the disc. Can you help me fix my problem with AVStoDVD, or recommend an alternative program. I have included the log file from my latest attempt with AVStoDVD: <2/26/2010 5:18:07 PM> START PROCESS <> <2/26/2010 5:18:07 PM> PROJECT SETTINGS DVD Video Standard: NTSC DVD Titles number: 1 DVD Size: 4282/4450 MB (96%) DVD Output Setup: ISO UDF Image DVD Label: HOME VIDEO DVD Menu: No Menu Output Folder: C:\Users\Spencer\Videos\Conversions\Camcorder\Output Delete Temp Process Files: No Delete Working Files: Yes Edit Command Parameters: No Post Process Task: Show Progress Status window PREFERENCES AVS Source Filter: A2DSource AVS Resize Filter: Lanczos4Resize Video Resolution: 2 Video BitRate Min: 4000 Video BitRate Level 1: 5000 Video Profile Level 2: 4500 Video BitRate Max: 5000 Keep DVD Compliant Video: 1 AC3 Audio Encoder: 0 DVD Audio Format: 0 DVD Audio BitRate: 128 Keep DVD Compliat Audio: 1 Normalize Audio: 1 DVD Audio Language: EN - English DVD Subs Language: EN - English Chapthers Interval: 999 Use Source Chapters: 1 DVD Burning Drive: E: ATAPI DVD A DH24AAS BP5N DVD Burning Speed: 4x Auto Erase DVD RW: 1 Save Log file: 1 Unload ActiveMovie library: 0 Adjust ffdshow mixer: 1 <> <2/26/2010 5:18:07 PM> TITLE 1 SOURCE FILES Video: C:\Users\Spencer\Videos\Conversions\Camcorder\Output\completetape1.mp4 Info: MPEG-4 Visual - 3790 kbps - 640x480 - DAR 1.333 - 29.97 fps (VFR) - Progressive - 1:53:56 hours - 204903 frames Audio: C:\Users\Spencer\Videos\Conversions\Camcorder\Output\completetape1.mp4 Info: AAC LC - 127 kbps - VBR - 48000Hz - 2ch - 1:53:56 hours Subs: - v0.7.26 <> <2/26/2010 5:18:07 PM> AVISYNTH SCRIPT Import("C:\Program Files (x86)\AVStoDVD\Lib\A2DSource.avsi") Video = A2DVideoSource("C:\Users\Spencer\Videos\Conversions\Camcorder\Output\completetape1.mp4", CacheFolder = "C:\Users\Spencer\AppData\Local\Temp") Audio = A2DAudioSource("C:\Users\Spencer\Videos\Conversions\Camcorder\Output\completetape1.mp4", CacheFolder = "C:\Users\Spencer\AppData\Local\Temp") Video = Video.ConvertToYV12 Video = Video.ConvertFPS("ntsc_video") Video = Video.Lanczos4Resize(352,480) Audio = Audio.Normalize() AudioDub(Video, Audio) <> <2/26/2010 5:18:07 PM> START VIDEO ENCODING OPERATIONS Encoding Profile: HCenc VBR 2-pass Target Video FileSize: 4075.2 MB HCenc Parameters: -ini "C:\Users\Spencer\AppData\Local\Temp\HOME VIDEO_8_completetape1.HCenc.ini" HCenc ini file: *INFILE C:\Users\Spencer\AppData\Local\Temp\HOME VIDEO_8_completetape1.avs *AVSRELOAD *OUTFILE C:\Users\Spencer\Videos\Conversions\Camcorder\Output\HOME VIDEO_8_completetape1.m2v *LOGFILE C:\Users\Spencer\AppData\Local\Temp\HOME VIDEO_8_completetape1.HCenc.log *MAXBITRATE 9000 *BITRATE 5000 *PROFILE BEST *ASPECT 4:3 *PROGRESSIVE *BIAS 50 *DC_PREC 9 *MATRIX MPEG *AQ 1 *LUMGAIN 0 *SMP *PRIORITY IDLE *WAIT 2 <> <2/26/2010 5:57:27 PM> END VIDEO ENCODING OPERATIONS A2DVideoSource: FFmpegSource2 (cache off) Created File: C:\Users\Spencer\Videos\Conversions\Camcorder\Output\HOME VIDEO_8_completetape1.m2v (4076.4 MB) OUTPUT VIDEO INFO: MPEG-2 Video - 5041 kbps - 352x480 - DAR 1.333 - 29.97 fps (CFR) - Progressive - 1:53:50 hours - 204698 frames <> <2/26/2010 5:57:27 PM> START AUDIO ENCODING OPERATIONS QuEnc (MP2) Parameters: -i "C:\Users\Spencer\AppData\Local\Temp\HOME VIDEO_8_completetape1.avs" -o "C:\Users\Spencer\Videos\Conversions\Camcorder\Output\HOME VIDEO_8_completetape1.mp2" -priority 5 -1 -nohq -novbr -mpeg2mux novideo -audiocodec mp2 -audiobitrate 128 -auto -close <> <2/26/2010 5:59:28 PM> Problems encountered during Title 1 AUDIO encoding operations. Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
