3/4 c. dark brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. (1 stick) melted butter
Mix above ingredients. Peel apples. Place in greased pan. Add topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until soft when pierced with a fork.

1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
32 ounces apple pie filling
1/2 cup butter
Heat oven to 350 F. Melt butter in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and sugar in mixing bowl. Pour into pan. Add the apple pie filling to the batter in the pan and spread evenly. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour. Batter will form crust on top of cobbler.
