The reason is that everyone thinks Rubio has to stay at Joventut for at least another season, if not two, which is when his contract expires. He is probably (at 80,000 Euro) the most underpaid player in Europe, but it's not likely that the team will agree to shorten the contract or accept an NBA affordable buyout before 2011. I'm a Rubio fan and would love to see him playing here, but I doubt it will happen soon.
