Krispy Kreme stores still dot the horizon in Alabama and I'm sure in quite a few other states and countries too. (I think I see one on the map in Australia!)

I usually don't associate heavy industrial equipment when I think about a treat, but when you have a chance to get a donut, fresh and hot off the 'presses', it's to die for!
When I walk into a Krispy Kreme, put on a hat (they're free), and grab a hot donut that melts in my mouth... I become a kid again (see picture below).
