Name the movie: B&W, everyone on ship actually dead/dying; woman is saved @ last minute (rescued after leaving the gas on in her apartment)
The movie is old; I don't remember much more about it. Everyone's on a ship, not sure where they're going or how they got there. Turns out they're all dead, except for one woman who is dying - but rescued (I think) when someone finds her and throws open the windows after she tried to commit suicide by leaving the gas on in her apartment.

It sounds like the film Outward Bound (1930), which was later remade into Between Two Worlds (1944).
