It's about a Dystopian future where Emotion and Feelings are illegal! Christian Bale is a member of the Police Task Force (The Grammaton Clerics) that hunts down those who feel. I wont spoil any of it for you but at some point he starts to feel emotion as well and it gets pretty deep from there (action-wise and emotion-wise). The Transformation is very well portrayed, there is great acting, and great action!
Prepare yourself for gun fights like you have never seen before! Made around the time of the Matrix but had very little marketing budget available after the film was completed. For anyone who hasn't heard of it, it really is a hidden gem!
