M$2. The internet. The internet is how I do my work in #1. Without the internet, my job would be infinitely more difficult.
3. My Family. This includes the people in my chosen family, not just those in my blood family. In fact, I could do without some of those in my blood family, come to think of it. Ryan, Gregg, Aleck, Kaira, Lynn, Jake - those are requirements.
4. Showers. I take 1-3 showers every day. Some of my best thoughts and ideas come to me in the shower. I can be feeling like crap and get in the shower and feel better nearly instantly. I love the water, the warmth, the coolness, the... I just love showers.
5. Food. I don't just mean food for sustenance, after all, you can eat tasteless, bland, boring shakes and nutrition bars and get the nutrients you need. I like flavor, tasting new things, trying varieties and textures and spices and experimenting with things. I am a foodie, big time, and the stranger and more exotic the food, the more I want to try it.
Now, I could have been like others and said sight and hearing and water and air and all that, but I'm assuming this is a given, things we should expect will and are always going to be there. I'm not looking at the Heinlein hierarchy of needs of whatever here. I'm looking at the things that make my life better every single day.
Great question!
