My TV is fairly old. Will I be able to hook an Xbox 360 up to it?

There is talk that I will be getting an Xbox 360 for Christmas this year. I don't care if the video quality isn't perfect, but my TV is an old Zenith 21" I inherited from my grandmother. It doesn't have all the fancy inputs like new TVs have, it just has the red/yellow/white auxiliary input, cable input, and red/white audio output.

Will this TV be compatible with this Xbox360 Bundle?

I'm not really familiar with TV-related technology, so thank you for the help!

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes. You can connect an Xbox 360 to your TV using the composite A/V cable provided in the box. I had an old 21-inch CRT TV which broke down a few months ago. When it was working, I was able to play my Xbox using it, and the picture quality was decent. Now, I have a TV/monitor hybrid which has component input, HDMI input and so on, but no composite input. I can't connect my Xbox to it until I get a component cable for Xbox. So, it seems that the old TV had its advantage(s). Composite AV inputs are still a must for any TV set.

Yes you will be able to connect this Xbox to your TV. In the description of the Xbox, it says it comes with a standard composite A/V cable which is the red/yellow/white connection you have on the back of your TV.
