My Playstation 3 ventilator starts making a lot of noise when playing God of War 3. Is that normal?
I have a 'fat' Playstation 3, and finally got God of War 3 yesterday. However, when I started playing, within 15 minutes the ventilator of the PS3 started running at high speed, making a very loud noise. Is that normal? Is God of War 3 stressing the Playstation 3 to the extent where it needs additional cooling? Is there a way I can avoid this?

It's normal to me. I've had my PS3 for some time now, and certain games get the PS3 loud. It means that the game you're playing has the PS3 working hard. It happened for me on games like Uncharted 2.
