Turn the computer off.
HOLD DOWN following keys: Command, Option, P and R
Turn computer on.
Wait for G Chord - 3 TIMES
This zaps the p-ram in apple computers and usually resolves the reboot problem.
The second thing to try is perhaps back up all of your data, de-authorize iTunes, and rebuild the entire system with a fresh load of OS X Leopard and or Snow Leopard. Hope that helps some what.

If you have a PC around you could try running Spin Rite to check your hard drive. Many times it can repair issues the drive is having. You need a PC because Spin Rite need bios to boot.

A new drive would be my recommendation though.
