about Butterball Turkey
my husbands job gave him a turkey but nowhere on it does it say how much it weighs! How can I find out?
my husband says that the tag was torn off....i don't know what to do!! If I over cook it it will be dry...im new to the thanksgiving festivites and I don't want to mess this up!!!

Use a weighing scale that has a weight limit of at least 15 pounds.
If you don't have an appropritate kitchen scale, borrow one or you can use a bathroom scale (preferably a digital bathroom scale). Place a light transparent plastic sheet on the bathroom scale before placing the turkey on it. A spring weighing scale can be used too.
