My daughter may play softball this year (8th grade) she has a baseball glove. Does she need a softball glove instead? Football is my sport.

A baseball glove will work fine, but you can help her "condition" the glove by using neatsfoot oil and an old softball. Rub neatsfoot oil in the web of the glove, stretch the webbing around the softball, and wrap a rubber band around the glove. Leave it overnight (at least - over a weekend or a few days might be even better). Then follow up by playing catch with her. I played softball from the time I was 11 years old until I was about 28 and always used my "baseball" glove!

I hope she has a fantastic time!
