My computer screen has a yellow tint even after I reformatted, how can i fix it?
The whites look yellowish. Could it be the resolution?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This is going to sound silly.. but check the connection! Every time I've seen this, it's because the plug isn't completely in. Wiggle it a little, and the color straightens out. Sometimes it could be a fried pin or connector. I can't think of ANYTHING software related that would cause this so reformatting wouldn't help.
1. Try and unplug/replug a few times. EVERY time I've seen this happen, it's just because the plug isn't in right. It would really be a shame if you went through all of that work and it was just a cable that had slipped out.
2. Check the ends of the cable, make sure no pins are broken, there is nothing in them.
3. Check the settings on the monitor and make sure you didn't accidentally skew the contrast.
4. Try another monitor (even a borrowed one). If another one works right, it'll be your monitor itself of it's connection. If it doesn't, it could be the port on your computer.
I highly doubt anything like reformatting would fix this, or the display settings.
Good luck!
