Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Try bribing him with stuff for him to do what you want

Before you get too worried, you should consider that all children will develop at different rates. Your child may just be a late bloomer. Don't get discouraged if they do things a little different. They may just learn in a different way than other children their age. Some children will start walking as early as nine months, but many perfectly normal toddlers don't start taking their first steps until they are more than 17 months old. If you're very concerned about your child's development, don't hesitate to call their pediatrician. They should be able to answer any questions that you have and allay any fears.

As for talking, this will also depend on your child. Typically around their first birthday they will know how to use between one and five words. This will turn into quite the vocabulary over the next few months. Once more, if you have concerns, contact your pedi. They will be able to tell you exactly where your child should be with their speech. There may be nothing at all wrong. Perhaps your little buttercup is just shy. Hope that helps!
