Most puppies go through a period of trying to stuff anything in their mouths.
If it persists, it can become a medical issue often referred to as Pica.

I did have a Chihuahua puppy who went through a period of eating some bizarre items which he promptly threw up.
It was like sorting through the stomach contents of a Tiger shark.
Until you know this won't be a repeat performance, I'd make sure you keep your socks out of her reach!
