My 42" Philisp Plasma died today... What would be more cost efficient to get it repaired or purchase a new one?

My 42" Philisp Plasma died today...

Philips 42inch Plasma 720P HDTV - Model # - 42PF9631D/37
has the Ambilight - 2 Channel
and the Pixel Plus 3 HD Chip

What would be more cost efficient to get it repaired or purchase a new one?

The plasma is about 3 years old.
A decent amount of hours on it.
More than a normal TV watcher.

If I am not watching cable I am watching something off my computer on it.
So it has hours on it.

The Issue.
My TV suddenly turned off and won't power back on now.
It felt really hot when it went so I thought it was turning off because it was over heating.
I let it cool down and now nothing.
I have done everything.
Changed the outlits.
Changed the power cable.
Left the power cable out for a while and plugged back in.

It is getting no juice.
No lights on and no sounds what so ever.

I think it has a dead power supply.

Where is my nearest Philips CERTIFIED repair man. (Zip Code - 07652)

How much do power supplies usually cost with installation?

Or is it worth it to sell it used and get a new one?
and if so how much would I get for it broken on an online auction site?
and what do you recommend and a new TV?
Say in the price range of the sold broken TV + the money it would take to fix it.

Cause if its gonna cost me $200 or more to fix it then...
I might as well sell it online use the money plus the $200+ it would take to fix it and buy something new.

Power Supplies cost roughly 179$ for your philips.
You can look at another $100 for installation.

I would sell it for 2-300 on ebay.

Take the 279 and the 2-300 form ebay and buy a new one.
5-600$ on a new tv you can definitely get something nice.

For .37 cents my advice is to buy a new one.

I would say buy a new one.. I would check ubid.com. I bought a recertified Plasma 47 inch for 500. The repairs will probably cost around the same if it is a serious issue. Good luck.
