Musically, what is the greatest violin concerto?

I've seen a lot of discussions online about which violin concertos are the hardest or most technically demanding. But as far as the pure musical aspect of concertos go, what are the greatest? Which ones show the most genius of their creators?

The three that come to my mind are Sibelius, Mendelssohn, and Beethoven.

What do you all think?

Any opinion on violin concerto would be most welcome and appreciated.

Thank you very much!

My personal favorite is the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D. I'm a big fan of Tchaikovsky in general; but, this is certainly one of his greatest works. It is a virtuoso piece that was too hard to play when it was written, and it was modern enough that it received very bad reviews at first. But it has gone on to be one of the most popular works in the classical repertoire, and is appreciated by almost everyone who likes classical music at all.

I agree that Tchaikovsky's violin concerto is a wonderfully inpiring work, as are Mendellsohn's, Beethoven's, Bach's, Brahms, Bruch's, Mozart's and Saint-Saens in particular. All are magnificent.

But I would feel the most technically demanding of all could be Niccolo Paganini's number one particularly the first movement thereof.Paganini was surely the composer who really specialised in the violin and so perhaps understood that instrument's virtuosi potential better than any other great composer did?
