High School Musical 4: East Meets West is due to be released Fall of 2010. Casting is currently being done and despite great reviews Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale are not, as of July 2009, expected to return. The plot is supposed to be about the rivalary between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights.

High School Musical 4: East Meets West is current in production as a made for TV movie. The anticipated release date if Fall of 2010, but no firm commitment to that date has been made. It is being directed by Jeffrey Hornaday & written by Peter Barsocchini.
