I will always remember Beck.
Although he is not too mainstream, his music has so much ingenuity and creativity that it is always fun to listen to. Each album is unique and great in its own way, proving that Beck is a great musician, and not just good at one type of song like many modern artists.

My favorite band of this decade is Animal Collective. A group of experimental pop musicians, they have expanded upon the sound that Radiohead was moving toward with Kid A. Equal parts inspiring melodies and sonic experimentation, each of their albums of this decade has been at the top of my "Best of the Year" list. Here is the video for their song "Fireworks" off of the Strawberry Jam LP.
