No one actually knows yet, this is something the family is keeping private. I have heard that a burial permit was obtained for Los Angeles County so we can definitely rule out Neverland. Some people believe it would be a security risk to have MJ buried at Forest Lawn. Perhaps he will be buried on private property. Right now we can only speculate. I understand the private viewing was held at Forest Lawn.

Michael Jackson's body was presented in a golden casket at Forest Lawn Memorial Park today for a private ceremony for The Jackson Family. Even though Michael's death certificate states Forest Lawn Park as his burial destination and is the resting place for many super star's such as Fred Astaire, Sammy Davis and Ed McMahon, Officier April Harding of the Los Angeles police department said Michael Jackson body would NOT be returning there. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,530481,00.html.
The global viewing of Michael Jackson's funeral is estimated at 300 million spectators and costing approximatley 4 million dollars for the memorial and funeral expenses. http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2009/07/07/michael-jackson-memorial-los-angeles-mayor-asks-for-fans-donations-to-help-cover-costs-115875-21502417/

As of right now we're not completely sure. TMZ is reporting that the death certificate says " Forest Lawn Cemetery was a "temporary" disposition of the body. As we first reported the body will not go back to Forest Lawn. Final burial is pending at an unknown location." I believe they are trying to get the state to allow them to bury him at Neverland Ranch.
This is the most current news.

MICHAEL Jackson was finally laid to rest yesterday in a public cemetery in Los Angeles’ Forest Lawn Cemetery during a function attended only by close family members. He was however buried without his brain as tests continue to determine the cause of his death

I know the family had wishes of burying Michael on Neverland and I too believe that that is where Michael would want to be buried and all though he no longer owns it, he has some type of investment in Neverland. I believe the family will bury him at Forest Lawn while they try to get permits and get with the investors of Neverland Ranch to bury him there. I know they would like to turn Neverland into a a museum and I believe the Investors would be completely interested in creating Neverland to be like Elvis' Graceland. So I believe he is buried at Forest Lawn, but it will not be his final resting place. This is only my opinion.
