When singing Ein Prosit is it preferable to sing "Eins, zwei, drei g'suffa!" or "Ans, swa, drei g'suffa!"?

This is assuming that you are neither German nor Bavarian and are just trying to be in the Oktoberfest spririt.

Just from my experience of living in Bavaria for a short period of time, I would say the second phrase "Ans, swa, drei . . " because it sounds more like Bayerisch (the dialect of the South, where the "Official" Weis'n Oktoberfest takes place) and less like Hochdeutsch (the "proper" German dialect, which probably no one but foreigners speak). I think "swa" or the slang for zwei is spelled "zwo" . . . but a native speaker could probably inform you better. Hope this helps!

Some experience in German language and living in Muenchen.

• I'd sure like to find a Bavarian dictionary, even if it's not an official one.
