They went on hiatus for a while to do some solo work. Dolores O'Riordan released "Are You Listening?" back in 2007 - really-good CD, by the way...well worth a listen.
Even better: she has a new album, No Baggage, coming out later this month. Woohoo! There are a few tour dates listed on her site, too.
However, the band reunited earlier this year (January 2009, to be a bit more precise). Well, that's what Wikipedia says, anyway. They aren't going to do any serious work together right now, though - kids to rear and all that - but at least they're back together. Maybe we'll see something new in the future.
