Whatever happened to Jill Scott? Is she still alive?

Yes she is still alive and looks to be keeping busy with her music career. She just had a baby in April, so that might be her main focus right now.

She's alive, and she appeared as the lead in the HBO/BBC series The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency which ran 2008-9.

Seems to be doing great. I saw her in Tyler Perry's movie ''Why Did I Get Married'' and thought she did a great job. She has a little baby boy now.
