Whatever happened to Chumbawamba?

In 2007, Chumbawamba played at the Glastonbury Festival. Then announced that a new album was in the works. The album was a lot more acoustic.
The album, The Boy Bands Have Won, released on 3 March 2008 in the UK and 14 March in Europe.
I was interested to know that Chumbawumba is just gibberish and doesn't actually mean anything at all.
