I think you have to go with Billie Jean. Amazing beat, awesome hook, really weird, almost creepy, lyrics...and it was the song he performed during his most iconic all-time TV appearance at the "Motown 25 Live" concert:

To my mind, this is one of the best pop songs ever recorded. Totally infectious. You hear it once and you always remember that bass line.

Have to run with Beat It on this one, there are so many good ones but I'm going to go with Beat It because of the Eddie Van Halen guitar.

Thriller was my favorite, just because it was so unique and memorable at the time it came out! The video was unforgettable. This video is the way I want to remember MJ.
