Without a doubt, it's the 80s! The best bands in history came out with huge hits in this decade! Motley Crue, Guns N' Roses (when they didn't suck...lol), R.E.M., the Beastie Boys and omg I could go on all night!

Ok, you're early 80's, I'm late 80's. Not all that different!

Actually, Lemmy Kilmister formed Motorhead in 1975 after he was kicked out of the psychedelic space rock group Hawkwind.

True Jeff, they formed early, but the song I referred to was released in 1980. So it's an 80's song! :-p Lots of groups were together for years, if not decades before coming out with a groundbreaking song.

More trivia, after getting booted from Hawkwind, he wanted to name his next band "Bastard." The members didn't all agree and ended up using the name Motorhead instead.

Liked your collection too though!

The '60s. The Beatles changed the face of music forever, with lots of help from dozens of other classic bands and singers. And it was back when studio tricks were just for variety and style - not for turning a pretty face with a mediocre voice into a singer.

The 1960's, no other decade was more groundbreaking. The music, fashion and attitude influenced every generation to come after. Not only did rock music flourish, but there was the soul and R&B of the Stax and Motown labels.
