What song means the most to you?

What song hits your heart and has the most meaning?
Makes you think, or cry or even revisit the past...
Is it the lyrics or the actual music behind the lyrics?

The lyrics and the music put me in a weird daze majority of the time...this song always comes on randomly when I'm down...I first heard the song when I went to see Halloween 2...then it was everywhere...

Mad World by Tears for Fears (1982)

When it played on the radio I had just lost a parent, way too young for both of us.

When it played in the movie Donnie Darko, I sobbed immediately and couldn't stop. Even writing this makes my heart pound and I feel weak.

It was appropriate to my experience at the time. It seemed like a mad world, still does.

The one that always.. every time gets me is Nine Inch Nails and Henry Rollins- I know you. However that isn't necessarily a song, it's a reading to NiN warm place. It's not hard to see how it could affect someone. It describes a lot of people, me included. The video isn't great, but I'm surprised I found one. The song is not that popular.

Wow at the typos in this... I should note my mind isn't quite here as I'm 7 months pregnant and have been fasting for 15 hours because of a stupid glucose tolerance test. One more blood draw to go and I can eat!

This is super mushy but I think this song will always be a part of my life... The song is titled Last Chance. It was revived by one local artist in our country. I loved their version but I think I love the original more... :) It was sung by Allure...

Why I loved it so much?

Because at one instance in my past, I loved someone so much and it came to point where I have my last chance to tell him what I feel about him. But I was afraid that he might reject me... for the second time.

So I just went with the flow... and then I thought that since it's my last chance already, I would make him feel special... I would do nice things to him... and by some "miracle" he fell for me too... finally. ^^

We will be celebrating our second year anniversary soon! Yay! ^^

This is the reason why this song will always be in my heart... ^^

Now he is mine. :)

The song that means the most to me is entitled "You Raise Me Up" there are many versions of these from Josh Groban and Westlife but I like the song and lyrics. It is very inspiring especially if I am at my most lowest, I feel inspired that there is a higher being who cares a lot in spite of my human err whom I can lean on to help me stand up when I stumble....

The song "For the Heart I once Had." Means the most to me.
Its sung by Annette from Nightwish. It really hit my heart the first time I heard it.

Well probably the song my boyfriend wrote for me, it always makes me blush. hm...also the one he wrote about the lion and the lamb, I just like that one a lot it sounds amazing.

"Wait For Me" by Theory of A Deadman is a special song for my boyfriend (who is a firefighter) and me because he is gone alot and we do all we can to keep each other close

The other song I am close to is I'll Be There by Escape Club because it is a great song to help you heal a hurting heart when youve lost someone.
