What is your favourite John Lennon song?

and why? Beatles songs accepted...

I think John Lennon has touched all of us at one point or another, my favourite son is "Working class hero" as I come from a very blue collar background, I love working just as long as I am working on something I enjoy doing...

I love Working Class Hero, but I think the Happy Christmas (War is Over) is one of the best Christmas songs EVER. It offers best wishes, but asks for some reflection as well.

But then, I just came through an over-sappy holiday song season, so I may be biased!

I really like "Oh Yoko!" from Imagine. There aren't many love songs that I know of that actually refer to the person's actual name for whom it was written, but there it is right in the song's title.

I love Beautiful Boy. It's such a nice song. Always makes me smile.
First video is not the full song but a nice video of John and Sean.
Second boy has the whole song I believe.

This believe the best John Lennon Song is "Because". This song heralds the creation of this planet. He wonders, out loud, the many beautiful things we all take for granted and brings them to the attention of the world. The three part harmony is so beautiful. It sounds like "Angels" singing this Lennon masterpiece. And the fact that it was heis last effort on the last Beatle album, makes it truly special.
