I really believe that the best produced pop album of all time is Steely Dan's Aja.

The music is quite good, but it is presented brilliantly. Nothing is over-emphasized, but everything shines. Even the Michael McDonald guest vocal part doesn't come off as corny. The synths and guitars sound current even today, and the drums sound beautiful.
