What is the most annoying song to have stuck in your head?

Okay, I was just watching Enchanted and now I have the song "That's How You Know" stuck in my head.

I've also made the mistake of listening to Britney Spears' "Womanizer" before a tour and then having the refrain stuck in my head all night.

Dave Barry wrote a whole book on this... Dave Barry's Book of Bad Songs. It was a highly scientific :) survey of his readers interpreted through his wonderful wisdom... and I have to admit it was good. The winner for worst song... song you don't want to get stuck in your head... almost unanimous. It's long (7 minutes), the lyrics don't make sense and it is so overdramatic, not to mention it was sung by an actor... MacArthur Park sung by Richard Harris (we love your acting)!!!

and the lyrics...

MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down...
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again

Need I say more???? Hope this song stays stuck in your brain for a while, I know it's going to haunt my dreams tonight.

DISCLAIMER: there are several wonderful jazz big band versions of this song!! However, even Stan Kenton's band made fun of it during the middle of the song when they sung a verse...

I was forced to listen to listen to this song every day when I was younger. I had no choice. So, I can't get this song out of my mind. I do not know if it's so annoying, though, but when you hear it every day it could get to you.

um definitely "Everybody" by the Backstreet Boys. and the worse part is the music video plays inside my mind along with the song. too much for one brain lol.
