I checked out the video. It's a lot different than I expected. He reminds me of a cross between Cee Lo and Tech N9ne. The video is ok, but the music is not really my style.

MtvU is like MTV but specifically gear towards college students. They focus on featuring new up and coming artists that appeal to the college crowd. It is broadcast to about 750 colleges around the country. I couldn't find exactly when the network started, but it looks like it was created some time before 2005.

What is the difference between MTV and MTVu?
An artist I work for (Krizz Kaliko) currently has a video up at http://www.freshmen.mtvu.com (we would certainly be thankful for any extra votes you might be interested in giving) and I am curious if anyone knows how MTV and MTVu work together. When did MTVu first appear? Have any mainstream artist been featured as an MTVu Freshmen?
For a little extra what what do you think of Krizz Kalikos video? ;)
