Lame rumor believed by parents everywhere, along with the rumor that "AC/DC" stands for "After Christ, Death Comes." Check out Snopes.com - they cite Gene Simmons' autobiography, in which he explains that the acronym's "evil" meaning is just a rumor.

Too bad it was just a rumor, im sure many young and old rock fans today wouldn't have been bothered with that name.

I know the band S.O.D sometimes stood for Speak English or Die. But in actuality it means Stormtroopers Of Death.

I wonder what other bands have meanings by their acronyms?
