Specific repetitive tones, pitches, and beats per second would have adverse effects, including inducing seizures (as we already know specific light stimulus and frequency can cause) and mainly because that music is 'synthesized' and uses non-traditional instrumentation to create, so we aren't used to hearing a computer sound as music, but to know specifically you would have to obtain (lab) test results of specific experimentation (or preform these test yourself).
But there are documented cases of certain sound causing seizures... thats about all I know about it, and that, that music is the most annoying out there....
maybe that's a psychological effect, to not want to listen to another second cause its literally driving you NUTS (and it's no wonder most people are high on ecstasy at raves to be able to bare it for long periods of time....).

What are the Psychological effects of hearing musical beats?
please explain. my main interest is repetitive, "nonsoothing" pop music beats as biological stimuli.
