Remember the band Lit? Whatever happened to them?

The band Lit have enjoyed modest success to date, "My own worst enemy" from 1999 reached #1 in the US Modern Rock charts and "Miserable" reached #3 in the same charts in 2000.

The band's last recording was "Lit" in 2004, there have been some appearances since then but these are infrequent.

In May 2008 Allen Shellenberger was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and is undergoing treatment.

In July 2008 Lit did a benefit concert for Schellenberger, No Doubt drummer Adrian Young, filled in.

There are no signs of much activity from the band and there seems little likelihood of future recordings.
