Open Thread: Steven Tyler Dead rumor

By now you've probably heard that Aerosmith's front man Steven Tyler fell off a stage during a concert in South Dakota. The fall didn't look that bad but he was airlifted to a hospital. Now there are rumors that he died...Was his injury that bad or did they airlift him because he's a famous rock star?

He's not dead, according to gather.com. Dunno if that's a reliable source..
Here's their message:

NO. He is not dead. The world of Rock'n'Roll can rest easy. He didn't walk away without any injuries though. He broke his shoulder and bled profusely on the way to the hospital. The band had to postpone tonigh'ts concert in Winnepeg, Canada.

The rumor remains a rumor because Steven Tyler Is not Dead!
Tyler was hospitalized after the fall, and the Aerosmith star suffered neck, back, and shoulder injuries.
He was saved by his cushioned lips! (winkz) Get well soon Steve!

MTV is reporting that his wife has been tweeting that he is very sore, but otherwise okay. You can follow her on Twitter if you want.

While looking at this news story, I also noticed this one, where Steven Tyler is doing something with his girlfriend. So does he have a wife AND girlfriend or am I missing something.

Anywho, it looks like the tour might be delayed, but we'll see.

I had no idea he hurt himself. I checked online though and see that he hasn't died. He's very sore, but did NOT die.
