I used Shazam on my iPhone to identify the song and it came up as
Stoop Rap (Rodney Cee & Kk Rockwell)
Double Trouble

Yes, that is the original song and artists. However, I am looking for a dance song in the late 80s/early 90s that sampled this song. Thanks,

I think that I misread your question, sorry about that, going to keep looking though!

This one was made in '94, however I'm doubting it is it because I don't consider it "dance." My only hope is that this song contains a sample from Stoop Rap.

You are right, not the song I'm looking for. But, Kudos for a great find! I will add this song to my collection.

Beats International did another song called "Won't Talk About It" with Norman Cook.... the sampling of Double Troubles work is at minute mark 2:30 (I believe the original Beats International version came out in '86 with the Norman Cook version coming out in '90)

You also had the "Best Answer", but had to give "Best Answer" to Darcy based solely on timing (she was first). Thank you very much.

Another shot: Gang Starr - DJ Premier in Deep Concentration. Not quite dance, but fits the on-radio-but-not-really profile.
