Is there a way to send what you're currently listening to Ping.fm or to an email address?

I am trying to send what I am listening to in iTunes to ping.fm or an email address. Is this possible?

Firefox extension FoxyTunes can be used to add the tune you're currently listening to, to your mail signature.
