If you're a man, I think there are societal taboos on crying or showing any emotion other than anger. I'm really encouraged when I work with men that feel safe enough to express their feelings.
I often find myself crying about the "silliest" things - primarily movies. And it doesn't even have to be a sad movie. Any time a connection is made between characters, I tend to well up.
I think the most emotional I've ever been was when my children were born. Getting to see them before anyone else (except the doctor) and helping them come into the world. See how beautiful they are and precious ("my precious"). I'll never forget it...
Pansy is such a judgemental word. There is so much catharsis to emotional behavior. Men tend to keep all these feelings inside. No wonder why we get prostate cancer so often. Our anuses are just that tight some times...

Music alone will not really bring me to tears but a good video to go along with that song will make me bawl like a baby!
great question, I can't wait to read other responses.

Hope this doesn't sound to cheesy, but I still get teary eyed when I hold my grandbabies. There is just something so special about holding/smelling/touching even just thinking about them I can tear up! Music alone will not really bring me to tears but a good video to go along with that song will make me bawl like a baby!

I often times get teary eyed whenever I watch my seven year old fast asleep at night. I sometimes spend maybe 5 minutes just staring at him. I can't imagine how all those years fly by so fast. I can still vividly remember when he was less than a year old, how I used to place him on my chest and he would just sleep there while I lie down. Sometimes I wish that he wouldn't grow up so fast which reminds me to cherish every moment with him. I know that the time will come for me to let go and trust that my wife and I raised him up right. And that he would face the world with confidence equipped with enough knowledge and wisdom to make good decisions in life. Just thinking about all these makes me teary. I don't usually share this. I don't know why I did it here.
