Does anyone know any good software that translates music into notes or sheet music?

It is for someone who has lots of ideas for songs but doesn't know how to write music. They could sing the tunes if something could translate the notes.

Music Masterworks is a software program that has a feature called "Voice-to-Note", which allows you to use either a microphone or a previously recorded .wav file to create your music. As you sing into the microphone, the pitch and duration of the notes are calculated and converted into MIDI music. You can then print out your finished composition.
