I didn't know this.... I'm not a fan but its cool that he understands that being nice to your fans actually helps... unlike some other musicians I could name...

They Might Be Giants also do this for their fans..... and I've gone out and bought (on CD/DVD) the content after I've had my free copy. So this sort of thing really does help sell music
