My thoughts are yes, it does seem to have similar chord structure, but I think it's still too different from the original to call it plagiarism. Notice how not one song but THREE different artists are claiming plagiarism. First it was Creaky Boards claiming that they took the melody from their song "The Songs I Didn't Write", then Joe Satriani for his 2004 track "If I Could Fly" and then Cat Stevens has spoken up saying that it sounds like his song "Foreigner Suite". My money is on Stevens because his song dates back to 1970. But regardless, this happens more than we normal people know. Kayne West includes samples of Stevie Wonder and other older artists in his songs and hardly anybody even knows about that. So in the end I don't think this will amount to anything other than a few feelings hurt.
