Would an imaginary character inside of a work of fiction be considered a double fictional character?

There's no such term that I'm aware of, and even if there was, it wouldn't make any sense. Whether something or someone is "fictional" is a black-and-white state. A fictional thing can't be any more or less fictional than another thing anymore than a corpse can be any more dead than another corpse. It's either fiction or it isn't. No 'doubling up' on "fictional".
