The main plot of the movie is Last Judgment, which means the end of the world according to some religions as Christianity and Islam.
The story is a teacher (Nicholas Cage) who stumble through a time capsule comes to know terrifying predictions about the future and tries to prevent them from happening.
But when considering the movie, it quite entertaining if you are interested in Science-Fiction movies with some disastrous images like "The Day After Tomorrow".
But in my point of view, the movie is such a waste of time. The acting is credible as in closer to real life behavior, but the story itself is very boring. I almost slept about 15 minutes during the movie. :P

The movie begins shameless, grows stupid and winds up silly. If the ending had less of the air of a crackpot religion and more pretentiousness, you could almost call it Shyamalanish.

This is according to my view. Other people's taste or the views may be different. So it is better to ask comments from many people and take a look at some reviews. Look at the point of view of the majority. Then everything else is upto you.
Happy Watching :)

I agree. A pointless, boring movie. I mean, really, what was the point of giving a 10-year-old girl all those numbers? What did they expect her to do with them? So stupid.
