Gotta be "Bogey and Baby" AKA Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. An enchanting couple both on and off screen.

Hard to pick, but my top 3 would be:
Ruthless People, Judge Reinhold and Helen Slater
Top Gun, Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis
Romancing the Stone, Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner
Definitely not 'Out of Sight' with Clooney and Lopez... it was a pointless movie.

"Flynn co-starred with Olivia de Havilland in eight films, including Captain Blood, The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936), The Adventures of Robin Hood, Dodge City, Santa Fe Trail (1940), and They Died with Their Boots On (1941). While Flynn acknowledged his attraction to her, film historian Rudy Behlmer's assertions that they were romantically involved during the filming of Robin Hood (see the Special Edition of Robin Hood on DVD, 2003), have been disputed by de Havilland. In an interview for Turner Classic Movies, she said that their relationship was platonic, mostly because Flynn was already married to Lili Damita. The Adventures of Robin Hood was Flynn's first film in Technicolor."

The couple is Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler who were played by Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable. I love them as a couple because they are nothing like the quintessential fairytale couple in most romance movies. They seem real, troubles and all. Their relationship is very love/hate, but it feels incredibly genuine. Their on-screen chemistry was amazing, and I love the traditional aspect of their love story.

Other couples I was considering:
Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet from Titanic
Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Leigh in Dirty Dancing
Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in Notting Hill
Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal in When Harry Met Sally

They spend most of their on-screen time torturing each other, which is a dead giveaway that they have feelings for each other - and it makes for great TV. (Then there's the fact that House just can't resist tormenting Cuddy re: her clothes and chest.)
Besides: you never know what's going to happen in the next season of "House" - they could finally be a "proper" on-screen couple.

Nominated for 10 Oscars and winner of 3 (including Audrey Hepburn's as Best Actress), the Academy agreed that Roman Holiday was a charming and incredibly fun film. The scenery was breathtaking and captured the beauty that Rome encompassed. With lighthearted dialogue, Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck played the roles with ease and comfort.

Oh boy, SO many great ones - I'll just stick with my personal favorite, Woody Allen and Diane Keaton. "A relationship, I think, is like a shark. You know? It has to constantly move forward or it dies. And I think what we got on our hands is a dead shark."

Well I'd say Spike and Linda from the British TV series 'Press Gang', but I'm presuming you mean a movie. Hard to pick, but my top 3 would be:
Ruthless People, Judge Reinhold and Helen Slater
Top Gun, Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis
Romancing the Stone, Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner

Laurel and Hardy because they were known for their slapstick humor. It was funny to watch their arguments with each other, and although it was in black and white, it was cartoon like.

Even though this is totally girly and cliché, I would have to say the best on screen couple is Noah and Allie from The Notebook. They are a very believable couple. They argue, fight, and don't always seem right for each other. However, in the end, they still are obviously and deeply in love. It is apparent that one would do practically anything for the other; their love defies time and unfortunate incidents.

Oh, such a hard decision! This really comes down to personal opinion, I suppose. So, I'm going to go with the couple from one of my favorites movies, Gone with the Wind. The couple is Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler who were played by Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable. I love them as a couple because they are nothing like the quintessential fairytale couple in most romance movies. They seem real, troubles and all. House and Cuddy! Yes, I know: you can easily argue that they aren't together, and therefore aren't "really" an on-screen couple. However: they want to be together so badly that the tension rolls off them in waves. They spend most of their on-screen time torturing each other, which is a dead giveaway that they have feelings for each other - and it makes for great TV. (Then there's the fact that House just can't resist tormenting Cuddy re: her clothes and chest.)

I would have to say the best on-screen couple is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie from Mr. and Mrs. Smith the movie. They both have great passion about one another during the making of the film and even had an off film relationship. Both of them are very hot and just work great together. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0356910/
